Andrea DAriano2008年获代尔夫特理工大学博士学位,目前在罗马第三大学土木、计算机科学与航空技术工程系任教授。任欧盟委员会及多家国家研究基金会专家与报告人,兼任意大利运筹学协会(AIRO)"公共交通与共享出行优化"分会协调人。目前担任交通运输领域顶刊Transportation Research Part ETransportation Research Part CJournal of Rail Transport Planning & Management等期刊副主编,Transportation Research Part BJournal of Intelligent Transportation Systems: Technology, Planning, and OperationsHigh-Speed Railway等期刊编辑委员会成员。截至 2025 826,Scopus 数据库显示其发表文献 173 ,被引 6017 次,H 指数 44。入选斯坦福大学 2023-2024 年度"全球前 2%顶尖科学家"职业生涯榜单(2024年交通与物流领域排名 276/606)。曾获第五届欧洲工业工程会议杰出教授奖、国际铁路运筹学协会“最佳青年研究员”等奖项,入选中国高等学校学科创新引智计划。承担参与欧盟项目、意大利国家项目等10余项。

【讲座内容简介】

This talk reports on the practical applicability of published techniques for real-time train scheduling. I will start with a brief description of the mathematical models, with consideration of railway business rules and objectives, and advanced scheduling plus routing algorithms based on alternative graphs. I will then focus on the optimization system AGLIBRARY that manages trains at the microscopic level of block sections and block signals and at a precision of seconds. The system outcome is a detailed conflict-free train schedule, being able to avoid deadlocks while minimizing train delays. Experiments on British and Dutch test cases demonstrate that AGLIBRARY can quickly compute near-optimal solutions. The final goal is the development of an advanced decision support system for aiding dispatchers in their work and for guiding them toward near-optimal real-time train re-timing, re-ordering and re-routing decisions.
