Graduate: In 2019, the number of master student supervisor and is Ph.D student supervisor  113 and 38 . The  number of master student is 799 and Ph.D student is 146 . As well as 19 Ph.D students and 259 master students graduated.

1. Planning and Management of Traffic and Transportation

To cultivate the professional students in organization, management, planning, design and scientific research in the field of transportation planning and management with the following abilities: meeting the needs of the modernization of transportation, all-around development of the physical and aesthetic qualities, a sense of social responsibilities and professional ethics, a solid foundation of mathematic and comprehensive humanistic quality; comprehensively grasping the basic professional theory and knowledge, skills to analyze and solve the problems, as well as innovative skills and comprehensive quality.

To cultivate professional students in production organization and operation management in the field of transportation engineering and related fields with the following abilities: meeting the needs of the modernization of transportation, all-around development of the physical and aesthetic qualities, a sense of social responsibilities and professional ethics, a solid foundation of mathematic and comprehensive humanistic quality; comprehensively grasping the basic professional theory and knowledge, skills to analyze and solve problems as well as the practical ability.

2. Traffic Engineering

Academic graduate students should be trained to have a solid theory and profound professional knowledge of traffic engineering. They must master the advanced technology and methods to solve the practical problems in traffic engineering field. They are the high-level specialists who have the ability to conduct traffic engineering and technology research and development, traffic engineering planning, design and optimization and management independently.

Students who are the full-time professional masters need to adapt to the needs of the transport modernization. They should have a good social responsibility and professional ethics and solid mathematical knowledge. The students should master the professional theory and knowledge and have the ability to analyze and solve the practical problems. Moreover, they have the strong practical capability. They are qualified to work on projects of transportation engineering and relevant areas of traffic organization, operations, and management.

3. System Engineering

Develop the ideology of patriotism and the scientific research attitude and methodology; have good physical and mental health, behavior, rigorous study style, and good spirit to seek truth, striving for new knowledge and scientific innovation.

Students need to grasp the knowledge of transportation system analysis, system modeling and optimization, system simulation and intelligent organization mode, intelligent decision-making system, computer control system, sampling rate of digital control system, satisfactory optimization principle and application method in control and decision. Students aim to develop the ability of engaging in the field of research, development, and designs independently, and then become creative with theoretical and technical skills in solving the real problems of the subject areas. Students need to develop the ability of teaching, scientific research, and management work.

4. System Science Level Subjects

The students have a solid foundation of natural science and social science knowledge, management science, and comprehensive foreign language capabilities with the basic theory and professional knowledge in systems science and engineering field. They can conduct some comprehensive work, such as the large and complex systems analysis and integration, design and operation, research and development, and other management and decision-making work in the complex industrial production, economic management, and services field systems.

5. Safety Science and Engineering
