From April 3 to April 7, 2017. Our
doctoral students Yang Yuxiang, Li Jie and Huang Ping took part in the 7th International Conference on Railway Operations Modelling and Analysis, held by
International Association of Railway Operations Research in Lille, France. 3
doctoral students reported their findings at three separate venues,
respectively.
International Association of Railway
Operations Research is currently the most authoritative international trade
association in the field of organization of railway transportation, the
association is dedicated to the study of railway traffic organization and
transportation capacity related researches, has very high academic influence in
the academic circles. The association holds the International Conference on
Railway Operations Modelling and Analysis every two years. It is a gathering of
experts, scholars and students to exchange academic achievements in the field
of railway transportation organizations around the world.
This Conference had more than 300
researchers from Holland, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom,
China, Italy, India and more than 40 countries, four papers completed
by our institute professor Peng Qiyuan, associate professor Wen Chao and his
research team doctor Yang Yuxiang and Li Jie, Huangping were eventually
accepted after rigorous abstract screening and full text reviewing. Three
doctoral students respectively represented the authors of 4 papers to report
and exchange at the branch court. As an important research direction of
National United Engineering Laboratory of Integrated and Intelligent
Transportation and National Engineering Laboratory for integrated
transportation big data, in recent years professor Peng Qiyuan led the team to
carry out a lot of useful exploration in the research and application of
railway data, the paper reports were related to the analysis and modeling of
railway big data on the basis of research results, which made the related
experts and scholars in the field of railway transportation pay close attention
and great interest. The three separate venues were full of audiences, and the
scene was very active.
