National Engineering Laboratories held the Conference on Assessment of Performance of Scientific Research Bases in 2016 in the conference room of Ming Cheng Hall of Jiuli campus on March 29. A total of 9 research bases participated in the conference, they were the construction project of National Rail Transit Electrification and Automation Engineering Technology Research Center, National Engineering Laboratory for Disaster Prevention and Control of Land Transportation Addresses, NEL, State-Province Joint Engineering Laboratory in Spatial Information Technology for High-Speed Railway Safety, Education Ministry Key Laboratory of Advanced Technologies of Materials, Education Ministry Key Laboratory of Magnetic Suspension Technology and Maglev Vehicle, Education Ministry Key Laboratory of High-Speed Railway Engineering, Education Ministry Key Laboratory of Transportation Tunnel Engineering and Engineering Research Center of Advanced Driving Energy-Saving Technology, Ministry of Education. The expert team headed by the academician ZHAI Wanming carried out an assessment of the scientific research bases.

After listening to the results report, the experts made comments and suggestions on the development of the laboratories, respectively and hoped that laboratories can further strengthen the construction, highlight key achievements and successfully complete the acceptance of the NDRC. President LIU Xiaobo made a supplement to the preparation for the acceptance work. At the meeting, experts and all units of the relevant leadership and staff fully communicated with each other.
